MiHeart: Meinhardt Launches first ever Corporate Social Responsibility program

For the past month, a poll has been rolled out for staff to vote for their favourite name and logo for the company's Corporate Social Responsibility program. Now the votes have been counted. Garnering 43% of the votes, the winning logo is

MiHeart: Meinhardt's CSR Program
With that, this marks the launch of MiHeart, Meinhardt’s very first Corporate Social Responsibility Program. This will be an exciting year as participating offices have made plans to engage staff and provide opportunities to give back to society through various channels.

Meinhardt Launches New Urban Design & Landscape Architecture Arm

Meinhardt Launches New Urban Design & Landscape Architecture Arm Meinhardt has enhanced its scope of services with the appointment of Dean Thornton as Manager: Urban and Landscape Design.

Dean joins with 20 years experience, the majority gained at award-winning design practice Hassell, where he was a Principal in their Melbourne studio.

His specialist expertise ranges from the master planning of residential and mixed-use developments to the planning and design of transport infrastructure projects. Recent experience includes preparation of master plans for the infill of urban sites earmarked for regeneration ranging from 3 to 32 hectares, as well as new community developments within growth areas around Melbourne, Victoria and New South Wales.

Jon Brock, National Director of Planning & Urban Development at Meinhardt said: “This is a natural evolution for the business. The way that urban development is heading, urban design and landscape architecture are critical aspects of the planning regime. With Dean's extensive expertise and experience we can now provide clients with a full turnkey solution from planning to design to implementation.”
