Meinhardt recently visited 22 Bishopsgate, which upon completion will be the second tallest building in the UK standing at 278m tall. Meinhardt would like to thank Lipton Rogers and Multiplex for providing us with a thoroughly enjoyable in-depth tour around 22 Bishopsgate and especially to Thomas Bradley at Lipton Rogers for organising our visit. Designed by engineers WSP and PLP Architects, the 62 storey tower is an impressive feat of engineering and design. We were taken around the full extent of the site, from the basement levels up to the 34th level. The informative tour showed the very impressive transfer structures and innovative reutilising of structural elements remaining from the pinnacle building.
