Martin is a director in the building services engineering team and has over 35 years of experience within the construction industry.

His UK and international project experience includes hotel, education, commercial, residential and arts sectors. He has led the building services team in undertaking hotel developments worldwide, and undertakes existing building surveys in relation to services and sustainability. In the other sectors, his contributions to the refurbishment and restoration of significant arts-related buildings are of particular note.

Martin also acts as a consultant to the Marriott Architecture and Construction teams in London, Frankfurt and Dubai, a role he has fulfilled since 2005. It involves providing building services engineering advice to the owners’ design teams on projects in the UK, EMEA, and Turkey regions. The role also involves undertaking property acquisition surveys for potential conversions to Marriott brands in the same areas.
