College of North West London
This project involved the redevelopment of the existing St Thomas School site to provide new school facilities with four levels of student accommodation above.
The classrooms are naturally ventilated via a perimeter heating unit in the floor and the radiators and trench heating are fed from energy saving condensing boilers, all controlled through a trend BMS. An A/C variant refrigerant flow system was also installed.
The building consists of a reinforced concrete frame designed to reflect acoustic criteria and separation between the school and residential occupiers.
