Movember 2018
For the past three years at Meinhardt, we have been growing facial hair for the month of November all in the aid of men's health issues. In our first year raising money for the foundation, we managed to raise £2,409 and broke into the top 100 Movember teams in the UK. In the second year, we raise £1,501 for the charity and we are on track to reach a similar figure this year.
At Meinhardt, we are aware of the effects of men’s health issue have on the construction industry as a whole and we know that not all men feel comfortable coming forward to talk about these issues, therefore each year we look to raise more awareness and try to raise as much as we can for a good cause.
Each year at Meinhardt, we like to choose an array of facial hair styles from the internet and then try to replicate these in the office these styles can range from a standard moustache to the friendly mutton chops, which have been grown this year. In doing this we believe we can raise awareness of the issue surrounding men’s health whilst bringing a smile to people faces and having a bit of fun.
