Meinhardt UK help sponsor Knight Dragon in their mission to raise £17,000 for the AHOY Centre
14 of the Knight Dragon team are training to take place in 2 rowing race challenges over the summer in order to help raise funds for the AHOY Centre. Half the team will take part in the Great River Race whilst the other half will row across the channel in the Cross Channel Row. Both events will involve arduous rows of over 20 miles!
Meinhardt are proud to support Knight Dragon in their mission to raise funds for such a worthy cause. The AHOY Centre is a fantastic charity that aims to change lives through sailing, rowing and water-based activities. The charity provides opportunities for disadvantaged and at-risk youths as well as people with disabilities. The centre works with hundreds of young people each year using water sports to break down social barriers, teach transferable and employable skills, and build self-confidence and self-esteem in turn.
